How it Works
Description
Welcome to our enchanting Wheel Throwing Pottery Extravaganza, where creativity knows no bounds, and every spin of the wheel brings forth a masterpiece! No prior experience is required, just a dash of curiosity and a sprinkle of enthusiasm.
In this hands-on event, our expert pottery instructors will guide your group through the mesmerizing art of wheel throwing. You'll step into our welcoming studio, where the scent of clay and the hum of creativity set the stage for a truly magical experience. Each participant will have their own pottery wheel, ready to be transformed into a work of art.
Please note, this event is for studio peak hours. A lower-cost version of this event is available HERE with different time windows.
Event Itinerary:
- Once attendees arrive the host will greet and seat them.
- Next we'll talk about clay, the wheel, and the tools we'll be using.
- We'll demonstrate some techniques, and participants will try their hands at wheel throwing.
- Our expert host will monitor your group and help them with their technique.
What You Will Make / Go Home With:
- Participants will finish one clay piece with a free white glaze and firing.
- Additional work made during the event can be fired and glazed at $15/extra piece.
- Participants will get to pick up their creations after 3-4 weeks. Everything will be food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
