Enjoy the best things in life—art, wine, creativity, and friendship—in this lively, artist-led workshop. Explore a work of art from LACMA's collection through fun dialogue, then retreat to the studio to create your own work in a supportive, positive atmosphere, while enjoying a glass of wine and small bites.
Artists have been painting portraits and self-portraits throughout history. View portraits in the exhibition Charles White: A Retrospective, then create your own portrait using acrylic paints on a stretched canvas. Use mirrors in the studio or bring a print of your favorite selfie, or picture of a loved one or pet. Step-by-step instruction will be given in this fun and lively class. All skills welcome! With artist Rosanne Kleinerman.

Full refunds will only be granted if the art class is cancelled. Please notify us immediately of any cancellations so that a student on our waiting list can attend class. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be granted for cancellations made three weeks before class start date. No refunds for cancellations made less than three weeks prior to class start date.
