What you'll learn in this bread making class:

Do you want to take your 100% whole wheat baking to the next level? In this class, I will take you through the steps needed to achieve a loftier sourdough bread using high hydration levels.

Back in my beginning bread class, we used a low hydration recipe (73%) that required very little work. In this class you will work with dough at around 100% hydration and the steps you can take to give your bread a better texture and bigger holes.

We'll mix in some different freshly milled (and maybe even toasted) grains, based on your preferences - einkorn, buckwheat, teff, barley, millet, corn, or whatever you want for your dough.

This class is described as an advanced level. Am I required to take the beginning bread class prior to taking this class?

Hi, Curtis! The instructor recommends taking the basic class first, but if you are already familiar with home milling, hydration levels and basic sourdough bread baking with a starter, then advanced is fine. Hope this helps!
