Preparation for entry level employment as a custodian. Training in safety, use of tools, equipment, chemicals, materials and supplies, and the proper application of dusting, sweeping, mopping, use of ladders, scaffolds, various floor machines and specialized equipment.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: Identify and employ responsible custodial management of tools and equipment. Employ safe handling of hazardous and toxic waste and materials. Identify and demonstrate appropriate maintenance practices for various floors and carpets. Select and use safely various automatic cleaning tools. After completion of class work, you will move into a 40-hour pass/fail unpaid Externship at a custodial work site, as scheduled with your instructor. Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Custodial Job Training Program (classroom) and signed externship agreement with your instructor.

If the College cancels a class for any reason, those pre-registered will be notified by phone and email and payment will be refunded. The school also reserve the right to substitute instructors or reschedule class times if necessary.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
