This class was great! I ended up being the only person that signed up and Jeffrey (the instructor) was awesome! He's very knowledgeable and was patient with me since this was my first time working with my camera. He answers all your questions and gives you a packet with tons of useful information. I highly recommend this class especially if you were like me and had no clue how to use your camera. I left feeling like I had an excellent understanding of my camera.

Wonderful class and great teacher. Any question you asked had a clear answer. Many years of experience equip him to share his love of photography in a way that even amateurs can understand. I have bought many books about my Canon, and none of them gave me the understanding he did in this class. The relationship between F-stop, aperture, and film speed were beautifully connected. He reviewed every setting on each of our cameras, and made sure we understood them. Then he took us out on the street for an added bonus: how to photograph a moving subject so that it was clear, and background blurred. The studio was quite impressive, and we had the opportunity to learn from a photographer who is well-known in his own right. He was patient and never condescending, even though we students knew so little, and he was aware of teaching priorities, as he tried to condense enough into one day to make sure we all left with a decent working knowledge of our cameras. There were only 3 students in the class, and he did a nice job of making sure his attention was equally divided between us. I highly recommend this teacher and class to any SLR beginner.

I arrived at the course and while I had expected a small group I was shocked to learn that I was the only one attending that day. How many other programs would still run the class without a minimum number of students. I got individualized attention for the entire day. It was thorough. He even helped me to figure out was over engineered and extemporaneous on the camera, from what I as a hobbyist would ever use. I recommend this course, highly.
