Description
What you'll learn in this woodworking class:
After briefly covering safe machine and shop practices, we will delve straight into cabinetry! Over two weeks students will design, build and finish their own small cabinets to take home. Moving at a brisk pace, we will cover how to extract a cut list and plan of action from your drawings, dimension parts and foursquare lumber, simple face frame joinery, cabinet construction and finishing. While some woodworking experience is helpful, all skill levels are welcome.
If you have ear and eye protection, bring it along, if not we can provide the basics.
There will be a half hour lunch break!
