What you'll learn in this baking class:

Learn southern baking tips from Chef Perrin and how to make three different desserts in this class.

Bake with Chef Perrin at her midtown location to learn how to bring southern desserts into entertaining. You will learn how to take delicious southern dessert recipes and turn them into something bite-sized that you or your guest will enjoy. This class will give you a real hands-on session in cooking and baking southern desserts fit for entertaining friends.

In this southern baking class, you’ll explore and learn how to make three different desserts. The menu varies each week, but can include recipes like;
Bread Pudding, Peach Cobbler, Pecan Pie, Pound Cake, Chocolate Tiramisu, Sweet Potato Goey Cake, Mascarpone Cheesecake, Blueberry Pie, Orange Sweet Cream Pie, and Yam Wontons to name a few.

Chef Perrin will set aside the first 40 minutes to demonstrate and discuss the menu for that evening. She will go over the variations of turning one dessert into three main dessert spotlights and everyone will be given a recipe to follow along with. In the last hour, Chef Perrin will allow you to join in and assemble various dishes. You are encouraged to BYOB and are welcome to enjoy a glass while you prep the items.
