In the territories of loss, illness, loneliness and weariness, author and psychologist Maria Sirois brings to light a seemingly paradoxical exploration of the science of positive psychology and the realities of those darker territories. With a fearless gaze, she lights a careful path toward a happiness and a serenity that includes both our flaws and the goodness that shows itself within us and our world daily.
Reading from her work and exploring its implications for our lives, no matter how harsh they may be, she offers both a template for resilience and a view toward writing that honors the complexity of the relationship between our worst moments and the wonder embedded within them.

- Refunds are available minus a processing fee* if you cancel up to 11 business days prior to the first day of the program.
- Course credits are available, minus a processing fee* if you cancel up to 3 business days prior to the first day of the program.
*The processing fee for cancellation is $15 for programs costing less than $250, and $35 for programs costing $250 and up.
No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations less than 3 business days prior to the first day of a program, or if a student does not attend a program. The estimated refund processing time is two to three weeks.
