We specialize in handcrafting beautiful UI & UX designs for tech startups.
Our Agency: We design everything from MVPs to full-scale products, and as startup founders ourselves, we have the experience to help bring those designs to fruition—whether it's raising seed funding, prototyping, or getting into accelerator programs. We're not just focused on pushing pixels and then passing them on to the next person in the assembly line (or as we like to call it, design-and-ditch), we're looking at the big picture. Unlike traditional agencies, we take pride in being hands-on through the entire process; something we’ve found can be critical to the success of a startup.
Our School: It was our pride and passion that drove us to start our school. We believe there is a lack of programs that focus on UI/UX production, where students are not just taught how to do research, but to also make products that manifest their design direction. We want to make design students more job ready than the programs currently available. We also have a firm belief that education is not progressive enough, that it is even lacking and behind. We aspire to be a hub of all forms of inquiry, discovery, and application within the design space. We hope you can join our community.

Sketch Foundations
Ivan is a great teacher, and Awesome went above and beyond. The small size of the class ensured personal attention and more interaction with my classmates. Our exercises went from simple shapes to mobile layouts to full templated designs. I came out not only with a nice understanding of Sketch, but a starter portfolio and great resources/contacts to start branching out into the design world. I'm a convert and will definitely attend more Awesome classes in the near future. -

Ivan gave a great class at Awesome Design School, we were a small group of people with personalized attention and the attendants came from all kind of professions. Also you leave the class with great tips and tricks from the instructor. Highly recommended!! -

Ivan was an amazing instructor! I learned a lot about Sketch and have continued using the program since the class. Instructors also encourage you to email any questions you may have and are willing to meet up, which is a plus! -
Sketch Foundations
Sketch Foundations exceeded my expectations in so many ways. After taking this class, I left fully equipped to create mockups for apps, mobile-friendly sites, a clear understanding of plug-ins and UI kits available, and most important (to me at least), the ability to create files that engineers can work with. Also, Ivan is an amazing instructor and it was really helpful that he is an active creative director, designer, and UX expert. We had really good conversations about the business side of running an agency. Overall the class was fun, engaging, and the class space was beautiful. I will definitely be back for the intermediate class! -
Sketch Foundations
This class was fantastic. I went into it expecting to learn a more efficient way to do wireframes, but gained so much more knowledge of the software's capabilities then I had ever anticipated. I left feeling motivated to explore further with Sketch and inspired to utilize it in various design projects of my own. The instructor, Ivan, is a great educator, patient, and clearly very knowledgable of the software and all aspects of design. The space itself is stunning...it makes you want to 'do the work' and be creative!
