I didn't feel like the class addressed tips to help the underdog in the negotiation. This really felt like a key component of the class that was missing and that I was looking for.
-
The course was primarily real estate based which did not give a general overview of negotiations.

It was very informative , I learned a lot .

The first and last class are devoted to a practice test. During my class, there was a substitute for one of the classes who wasn't sure where we were and normally taught a GMAT class. It was confusing. It could've been more helpful, but whatever length of class you're signing up for, know the first is a test to see where you are at, and the final is a test to see if you've improved (mostly because they offer the class over again if you don't improve at all, which is great, unless you only improve by 1 point.)

The instructor is very knowledgeable and I learned a great deal. Hoping to pass the certification and get a job doing payroll so I can practise what I learnt.

Great course to connect the dots with communication and accounting. Valuable experience and awesome instructor that really breaks down complex issues. Definitely recommends this course.

I thought the class was very good. The Instructor, George Donahue, is a subject matter expert in the field of negotiations. The class was small with only 8 students. There were 2 students with backgrounds in real estate, 1 with M&A's, a couple of people in sales and I was from the government. He made an effort to use examples applicable to all the different fields making the class more interesting. The course was a great value and well worth my time and money.

Teacher just taught directly out of the $45 textbook I had to buy for this class (which I was unaware of). I could have spent the money on the book and learned it myself
Also, this class is part of a larger finance certificate program. So most of the students in the class are in the program. As a result there is a bunch of graded homework, midterms, and finals that the class description did not have. It's quite a bit of outside work, something to consider if you're working full time.

I was expecting the instructor of the class to cover topics related to building construction as indicated on the syllabus, and NOT spend hours talking about his experiences in real estate. Furthermore, the instructor's health did not allow him to teach for the full 8 hours, so each time we were dismissed early and told to read the textbook. Overall, this was a waste of money and time.
-
The teacher seems unsure, talked for a long period of time and never did an introduction to the subjects in class.
I only went to two classes.

Excellent Instructor!

the class was a waste of time and money.
the instructor, though clearly experienced, was woefully unprepared to teach.
he was vulgar and unprofessional throughout.
a syllabus was distributed at the first class but the items on it were not covered.
he spent most of the time talking about himself; some of it covering his real estate experiences and a lot of it not.
class was supposed to be 2 hr, 50 min. per session. in fact, it ranged from 1 hr 30min to 2 hr 15 min.
he may have a lot of years in the business but, he has no business teaching.
i could hear the instructor across the hall talking about cap rates; describing what they were and how to calculate them and i was wishing we had that instructor instead.

I didn't like that in our first day we didn't receive any lecture, only teacher's presentation and commercials... made me feel like I've lost 1 day and USD 200.

I enjoyed the real life scenarios the teacher presented in class.

The computer's in the class were so old and slow it
definitely effected my learning. I had to switch computers
three times one night and fell behind.

The professor is everything you would want: knowledgable, accessible and very caring.
