Our Intro to French Crash Course offers the perfect introduction to French language learning and cultural immersion. During this focused 90-minute session, you will learn practical basic vocabulary and essential phrases while developing an intuitive sense of French pronunciation and linguistic patterns. This introductory course provides an excellent opportunity to sample French language instruction and determine whether advancing to more comprehensive French study aligns with your goals and interests.

Specialized French Workshops and Programs:

We offer a diverse selection of rotating French workshops designed to address challenging grammar concepts, teach practical travel phrases for French-speaking destinations, and develop confident speaking abilities through small group conversation. Our experienced French instructors and professional dialect coaches create a supportive, engaging learning environment where you will build confidence and competence in French language communication. Each workshop is structured to help you overcome specific language challenges while enjoying the process of language discovery.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy

In order to receive a full refund less 5% cancellation fee, you must do so at least 8 business days before the class start date.
Any subsequent withdrawal from a contracted course, for whatever reason, will result in forfeiture of the total cost of enrollment.

If you are in a class and cannot continue, please notify us of your situation as soon as possible so we can work with you to find a solution. We cannot credit you for classes you missed before notifying us or for a class scheduled to occur on the day you contact us.

If you miss a class during a 12-week enrollment, you automatically get a 13th consecutive bonus class added to your enrollment!

If you are unable to attend the 13th consecutive class, you forfeit your make-up lesson. Only the 12-week enrollment comes with a bonus make-up class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Rabah is a wonderful instructor! As someone who is just beginning to learn French through self-study, I learned a lot in this 1.5 hour class. I feel much more confident for my upcoming travels. I'd gladly return to another French course at ABC Languages if he is teaching again.

The one thing I would recommend would be to focus mainly on phrases that are commonly used in travel. While the teacher was good (and very nice!) he was using the "text book" which should focus on things like how to say "I am an American", "I can't speak French", "Do you speak English?" - phrases like that - which it doesn't cover. For many people taking a crash course in a language before travel, you just want to be able to navigate quick conversations with people at the cafe, in the cab, etc. A couple more basic phrases should be included to help toward that end. That all said - sweet teacher, beautiful French accent, and it was a helpful class.
