The NYC 8-Hour Site Safety Coordinator course is a shortened version of the 40 Hour Site Safety Manager course designed for experienced professionals interested in registering as Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Manager, or Site Safety Coordinator with the NYC Department of Buildings.
Course Topics:
- Review of NYC DOB building codes in Chapter 33
- Identify common causes of construction accidents in NYC
- Roles and Responsibilities of Site Safety Manager, Site Safety Coordinator and Construction Superintendent
- Site Safety Plan requirements
- Review of OSHA and NYC DOB regulations
- Fire Safety and prevention on a construction site and review of fire codes.
- Site safety plan requirements
After registration, students will receive a information on signing onto the webinar via ZOOM. Please note access to a PC with webcam and audio will be necessary to attend the live webinar. Students will be required to show NY state ID (example: Drivers License) at the start of the Webinar.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
