In this course we will explore the tools to create P&ID drawings in Plant 3D. You will begin by using the tool palette to add equipment, schematic lines, valves, and other items. Then using menus like the Properties palette you'll have access to fill out information associated with these items. We'll explore different editing tools specific to Plant 3D's environment.
We will: convert basic AutoCAD geometry into intelligent P&ID symbols, use the Data Manager to review the items local to a specific drawing or view all P&ID items in the project, and export and import data using the Data Manager. Use the Report Creator to generate a standard report without customization.
