Alexander Blank is an artist living in Munich Germany and a graduate of the Munich Academy of art. He has exhibited internationally. He has received numerous awards including; Boundaries, 24. International Silverart Competition, Förderpreis der Landeshauptstadt München,Jewelry, Munich (DE), Danner-Award, prize of honour, Danner Foundation, Munich (DE), Herbert-Hoffmann-Preis, BKV Prize for Young Applied Artists - Finalist, Bavarian Craft Council, Munich (DE), Exclusive, 17. International Silverart Competition. He has lectured widely including New-Curation of the Danner Rotunda for The Design Museum in the Pinakothek der Moderne, Guest Lecturer Summerterm 2016, Academy of Fine Arts Nürnberg (DE) 2015, Academy of Fine Arts Nürnberg (DE), Academy of Fine Arts, Munich (DE), Central Staint Martins, London (UK), Brooklyn Metal Works, New York (USA), Rhode Island School of Design, Hiko Mizuno College, Tokyo. His work is in the collections of: The Design Museum, Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich, Danner-Collection, Munich.
