What Is Included:
We supply all paint, protective gloves, studio space, and, of course, an experienced NYC graffiti artist instructor. The graffiti workshop takes place directly on the walls of our studio, just like authentic street graffiti, giving you a true and immersive experience. You will receive individualized canvases measuring 20 inches by 10 inches to take your graffiti art home with you. Alternatively, you may choose to substitute a family-style canvas measuring 4 feet by 5 feet, or bring your own T-shirts or sweatshirts to paint instead of the individual canvases, all for the same price.
Optional Tour Experience:
A guided neighborhood tour can be added before or after your workshop at no additional cost. The tour includes a one-hour guided walk around the vibrant Bushwick area, where you will see and learn about over 25 stunning murals created by some of the most incredible artists in the city. Combining the tour with the workshop for a total of two hours creates a wonderful, comprehensive experience. The maximum duration for a tour plus workshop combination is 2.5 hours, which represents the ultimate package and provides the most complete graffiti art immersion experience.
Meeting Location:
The graffiti workshop is one hour long and takes place at our Brooklyn Art Studio. Please meet at 282 Meserole Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The closest subway stop is the Montrose L Train station.
What To Bring:
Wear casual and comfortable clothing that you would not regret getting paint on. While the paint does wash off, wearing clothes you are not concerned about will help you relax and enjoy the experience without anxiety. We recommend avoiding formal attire such as gowns or tuxedos. Please plan to wait approximately 15 minutes after the workshop finishes to allow your artwork to dry completely before you pack it up and take it home with you.
