What It Includes: We supply paint, gloves, studio time, and of course an authentic NYC graffiti artist instructor. The graffiti workshop takes place directly on the walls of our studio, just like real graffiti. Individualized canvases (20 inches by 10 inches) are provided for those who want graffiti to take home. You can substitute a family-style canvas (4 feet by 5 feet) or bring in your own t-shirts and sweatshirts as an alternative to the individualized canvases for the same price.
Tour: A guided tour can be added before or after the workshop. It includes a one-hour guided walk around the area to see over 25 murals from some incredible artists. The tour plus workshop combination for two hours is a wonderful option, or you can choose the tour plus workshop maximum of 2.5 hours for the ultimate street art experience.
Meeting Location: The graffiti lesson is one hour long and takes place at our Brooklyn Art Studio. Meet at 282 Meserole St. in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The closest subway stop is the Montrose L Train stop.
What to Bring: Wear casual clothes, nothing you would regret getting paint on. While the paint does come off, everyone has less anxiety if you don't wear your finest clothes. Please be prepared to wait 15 minutes after the workshop finishes to allow your artwork to dry before you pack it up.
