Available April through early November: Witness a New York City sunset from the water on this scenic evening sail past some of the borough's most iconic waterside landmarks.

Step aboard the magnificent 80-foot schooner Adirondack and leave the noise and concrete of the city behind for a peaceful, panoramic voyage across the harbor.

Landmarks you may see along the way:

• The dramatic New York City skyline
• Battery Park, the 20-acre green space at the southern tip of Manhattan with a long history as a coastal defense site
• Ellis Island, which welcomed millions of immigrants to America between 1892 and 1954
• The Statue of Liberty, the iconic French gift that arrived in New York Harbor in 1885 and has since come to symbolize freedom and opportunity

Engines will be shut down in favor of sail power for as much of the journey as possible.

• Seating varies across the fleet. All vessels offer outdoor seating, and motor boats also provide covered indoor areas.

How many guests will be on the boat?

• All excursions operate at state or city-mandated capacity limits.

May I smoke aboard?

• No. Smoking is not permitted on any of our vessels at any time.

Can I eat on the boat?

• Light food options are available on board. If you bring your own food, please limit it to a simple light snack for health and safety reasons.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

• Outside alcohol is not permitted. Personal bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. One complimentary beer, wine, Champagne, or soft drink is included, and additional beverages may be purchased on board.

• For schooner sailing excursions, the captain may authorize a cancellation or delay up to departure time if weather conditions pose a risk to safety or enjoyment. High winds, heavy fog, torrential rain, or extremely low temperatures may all factor into a cancellation decision.
