From Prep Chef to Head Chef w/ MasterChef Francis Legge

Skip the restaurants and enjoy a beautifully plated, sumptuous meal made with high-quality seasonal ingredients prepared by Fox’s Master Chef Scottish Francis Legge – and - your very own junior chefs at his unique “From Prep Chef To Head Chef” training program starting this fall for kids interested in mastering the art of cooking.

Along with learning the basics (essentials) that all chefs must acquire, Chef Francis engages kids in a way that enchants them to play and be adventurous in the kitchen. Junior chefs will learn the proper techniques for a true curriculum that includes knife skills, mise en place, sautéing, roasting, etc., all about herbs & spices, stocks & broths, grains & legumes; how to cook meats, seafood, vegetables, and desserts. And then -- he piques their interest further with a spectacular Molecular Fruit Salad that invites them into the newest adventure in the Modernist Food world and inspires them to go further.

Students will have the ability to work toward team leadership and acquire chef jackets.

Each class is 2 1/2 hours and includes healthy snacks, end of class food, recipes, and take-home meal kit.
