What you'll learn in this terrarium class:
Learn how to create a succulent terrarium and make a macrame hanging planter to display it!
Macrame, terrariums, weaving and planting–oh my! Come get crafty in more ways than one in this combo class, where you’ll learn the 411 on terrarium-making and master macrame basics!
This workshop will begin with terrarium construction, where we’ll lead you through the process of making your own mini universe inside glass. We’ll provide glass globe containers, living succulent plants, shimmering sands, and mini figurines. You’ll learn how to layer and build a killer terrarium, plus everything you need to know about how to care for it and keep it thriving. (Terrariums are perfect plants for apartment dwellers, as they require almost no care at all.)
Then, once your terrarium is complete, you’ll make a killer macrame hanger to display it in style! Working with your choice of neon cord or natural cotton cord, we’ll make a knotted hanger that’s the perfect, understated complement to your terrarium. Once you learn how easy these hangers are to make, you can recreate them again and again for all the plants in your life!

We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations.
- If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit if you notify us at least 5 business days before the workshop.
- We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 5 business days advance notice.
In fairness to all of our customers, we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness or travel. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
