It was a gift and I did not get to attend. However, my friend Rolinda Ramos who gifted me the course attended and said it was great. I plan to try the next one.

Would not recommend for an absolute beginner - fast-paced.

Course was well done overall and the instructors were energetic/friendly. However, it's definitely not for total beginners since the instruction goes very quickly. More like a refresher or for people who have basic steps down already.

Great class. Teacher was fun and approachable. Smaller class for more individual attention would have been nice, but still fun overall.

The instructor was great. She really has passion for West Coast Swing and teaching. She broke all the steps down in an easy-to-follow format and even those who had zero experience in dance found themselves following along well. I would recommend this workshop.
Waltz & Hustle Crash Course for Couples

Ricardo was a good instructor and I learned a few things - I think we could have spent the whole class on either the Waltz or Hustle, as it felt a little rushed to cram both in, but it was a good class all the same. Thanks!

Knowledgeable teachers, friendly vibe, great space.
Since this was a beginners class, I would have preferred if we spent more time practicing steps in shorter chunks. The last half hour felt a bit overwhelming with the instruction to reproduce long sequences. After three hours of new steps, my attention span was waning. I heard this same critique from others too.
I would go back though. Swing is all about practice and this is a great place to learn.
