Grab your camera and join our morning photography program to capture the perfect shot! After learning the tricks of the trade from our animal staff, you'll head out to the zoo before it opens to take exclusive photos under the guidance of our resident wildlife photographer. Animals will be enjoying seasonal enrichment with beautiful Central Park as the setting! Please Note: Ticket is per person.

My lesson was an amazing experience, all thanks to the awesome photography instructor I had the great pleasure of meeting, Zim! It was a stroke of luck that I was the only student this particular day and ended up (not intentionally) having a private lesson with an incredibly knowledgeable photography teacher. Zim immediately assessed my beginner needs and proceeded to instruct me on the basics of my camera and beginning photographic skills and techniques which is precisely the information I needed. I cannot say enough how fantastic an experience this was for me, A private lesson for 2 hours from a knowledgeable instructor- I learned so much and was so extremely appreciative of this time spent. I hope to become a better photographer as a result of Zim's excellent teaching, advice and recommendations ! -

I have tried to learn photography skills from a number of sources and found Zim's approach to be most effective. She has a great combination of talents: extremely knowledgeable, listens well to what you want to learn, teaches in a way that you learn and won't forget. -
Zoo Views (Ages 18+)
Not so much a photography class inasmuch as a photo opportunity! Judy and the team at the Zoo were a pleasure to spend the morning with. Having the opportunity to experience the zoo prior to the public opening was worth the price of admission alone. For the Valentines event, heart shaped treats in prime locations were provided to the animals once our group was situated leading to wonderful photo opportunities. The group was a good size, with enough viewing spots to not need to climb on-top of each other. Admission tickets were provided at the end for those wishing to spend additional time at the zoo. Will definitely be back! -

Great class! Zim is able to make this class fun even when the class has varying levels of photography skills. Although it’s a group setting she still gives individual attention and advice. This was very helpful for me since I was just trying understand my camera a little better. While some of the more advanced people had other goals. I am really glad I took this class. I would definitely recommend it. -

I took this exact class last year when I was in town and enjoyed it so much, I took it again with the same instructor: Zim. The class size was small, which was a plus, but it was Zim's style of teaching that hooked me. She kept the information at my level so that I didn't get either overwhelmed or bored. She took extra time to show me specifics of using my camera, how to get a good shot, and more. Bonus- she's just the nicest person! Hope to take her class again- either this one or another one that is offered. Thanks, Zim! -

I spent 4 days visiting NYC, going to museums, galleries, shows, and well...basically doing the NYC "thing", but I have to say that this class was the highlight of my trip. I learned so much! I think this class would work for just about anyone- beginner to advanced photographers- Zim spent a lot of time with each student. HIGHLY recommend this class! Thank you, Zim! -

This was pretty a nice workshop to me! There were a various situations at the park that we can learn some technical aspect as well appropriate way of thinking in advance of shooting. After taking this course, I definitly changed my attitude when shooting. Much helpful.
