Professionals working in the event and meetings industry are diverse; ranging from those whose full-time job is planning events, to planners who are occasionally asked to take on events as an additional facet of their job.

No matter who oversees planning, every event has the same expectation; event goals must be achieved. The event must have the look, feel and functionality that the paying client or decision maker envisioned. And because events happen in real time, planners only have one shot to get it right.

The Event Leadership Institute was created with this in mind. Regardless of your experience level, how long you’ve been in the industry or how many events you plan per year, we want to help you get it right by providing you the training and knowledge you need for success.

Our mission is to provide flexible and accessible resources and progressive education options for event professionals and students in the many facets of the special events industry. Through our online platforms, we offer professional development courses and on-demand subscription-based learning developed and delivered by event industry leaders, as well as support for academic programs and instructors. We are passionate about the advancement of the industry and the success of our learners.

The classes being provided are simply excellent for business owners. I've been searching for more than 12 months for courses and information about operating an events business and became very frustrated with associations focusing on event delivery skills and nothing to do with operating an event business. My subscription to ELI has been so valuable in such a short period of time - keep up the good work!
