Faune Yerby is a master of mixed media photography, and collage . Using nineteenth-century photography techniques and modern chemicals, she evokes the beauty of nature and a bygone time. All her photographs are original prints, which have been toned and hand colored. She uses recycled and sustainable materials when possible and all her pieces are handmade. Her work has been sold in Barneys NY, Anthropologie, Cog and Pearl, Tilde, Office, and I dom. They were also featured in Seventeen, House Beautiful, AM NY, Metro, and in Time Out NY. All her work is informed by her surroundings. Each piece speaking of Beauty, Nature, Science and Architecture. She lives right next to the Brooklyn Bridge and has an unobstructed view of the downtown skyline where she draws inspiration for her works..
