A certified 500hr. yoga instructor with certifications in multiple yoga disciplines including: Meditative, Yin, Restorative, Nidra and Prenatal Yoga, Karen is passionate about the power of yoga for healing our bodies, minds, and spirits. This passion further inspired her to become a certified health coach from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, with a focus on prenatal and family nutrition. Karen teaches many of the classes at healme.nyc, but most uniquely she combines her passion for yoga and nutrition into our Pre-lunch Prenatal classes to help expecting moms keep their bodies healthy from the inside out. 

Karen guides her students towards a sense of appreciation for themselves, by helping them reach a deeper awareness of their fullest potential. Because there is no one-size-fits-all answer to the question How can I be healthier? Karen helps students develop unique strategies that align with their personal lifestyle, values, and motivations. Karen encourages her students to pursue mindfulness of their nutrition, and physical movement, to improve how they feel, knowing that health is our greatest asset.

Karen continues to develop her passions and skills by further in-depth study of Ayurveda, the Yoga Sũtras, Sanskrit and anatomy.
