Loved by her community, students, parents, and foodies around NYC, Chef Toni Willard-Young, has truly grasped and embraced the essence of family, food, art, and culture. This South African born master-chef has been creating her own culinary adventures for over 20 years, providing a culinary phantasmagoria that is unique and truly unforgettable. Chef Toni's passion for healthy food choices through fine cuisines has been praised by The Amsterdam News, New York Voice, and Society Allure.
She is known for her commitment to providing customers with only the best seasonal produce, antibiotic and hormone-free meats, and fresh caught fish. Chef Toni has catered events for NY/NJ politicians, the South African Embassy, private dinners for Columbia University Alumni’s, women's civic organization's such as the Links, international style doyenne, Audrey Smaltz, and the list goes on. In 2008, Chef Toni opened Antoinette's, a restaurant in Harlem, NY, as a way to share her passion for healthy foodsand her love of farm-to-table cooking with the public.
As a proud mother of four, Chef Toni understands the importance of good nutrition and the role it plays in the growth and development of our children. Over the course of four years, Chef Toni has contributed her knowledge and expertise as a cooking specialist for the Westside YMCA, and as a cooking teacher for an after school enrichment club in PS 166 on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Toni's drive, passion, and dedication to teaching students to be passionate and knowledgeable about their food has led her to open up the only cooking school for children on the Upper West Side of Manhattan where she continues to create “cook and play” adventures at her own Chef Toni's Cooking Adventures.
