Pauline Reid

Teaches at Peaceable Dragon

Pauline has been a practitioner of the internal arts since 1989. Her interests have included Qigong, Tai Chi Chuan, Reiki Jin Kei Do, and Accunect. She began teaching Tai Chi in 1997 and Qigong in 1999. Pauline is certified to teach in several styles of Qigong including: Sheng Zhen Gong, by Li Junfeng, Integral Qigong & Tai Chi™ by Roger Jahnke, Organ Cleansing Qigong by Francesco Garripoli and Daisy Lee, and has received Level I Fundamentals in Rehabilitative Qigong & Tai Chi certification from the IRQTC. Other teachers of note she has studied with include Li Jing, Wu Zhongxian, Ko Wong, Ken Cohen, Chris Pei, Yang Zhen Ji, Yang Zhen Duo, Ted Petro, and Paul Rischard. Her deep commitment to the practice, along with her realistic approach to life, makes her an inspiration to her students. Her enthusiasm and love of Qigong is contagious, and her in-depth knowledge of the forms enables her to teach to the level of each student, from beginner through advanced. Pauline’s ready laughter and compassion for others embodies the spirit of Sheng Zhen. Pauline teaches weekly classes, weekend workshops and private sessions in Northern Virginia. She is a member of the Peaceable Dragon Instructors Association and the National Qigong Association. Pauline was awarded Level III Advanced Instructor certification from the NQA.
